# OhoSync

> OhoSync is a hosted web service that keeps a Shopify or WooCommerce store up to date from a supplier's product file or feed (Excel, CSV, Google Sheets, PDF price list, XML feed, supplier API or a list of product page links). It applies the shop owner's own pricing rules, protects fields the owner edited by hand, and stops updates that look wrong before they reach the live store. Built and run in Norway.

Key facts:
- Destinations: Shopify (Admin API) and WooCommerce (REST API key). Nothing to install in the shop.
- Sources: Excel, CSV and Google Sheets from any supplier (columns mapped once by the user), PDF price lists, lists of product page links; XML feeds and APIs for suppliers OhoSync has a reader for (send a sample to check).
- Pricing rules: markup as percent or fixed amount, different markups per cost band, per-product fixed prices, rounding (.99, .50, whole, up to 10, up to 100, ending in 90), currency conversion at the daily ECB reference rate with an optional buffer.
- Protection: per-field locks (title, description, images, category, brand, price, stock); product URL locked from the start; products deleted by the merchant stay deleted.
- Safety: price-jump and minimum-price holds per product; the whole update stops if the feed suddenly loses a large part of its products; preview (dry run) before writing; history of every change with the reason.
- Not included: OhoSync does not place orders with suppliers and stores no customer or order data.
- AI: reading a supplier file with AI is free on every plan; rewriting or translating descriptions and extracting attributes use AI credits or the user's own provider key. Prices, stock and locks are deterministic rules.
